The project
A former colonial warehouse turned fine-dining destination. We kept the original steel frame and inserted a compressed laterite volume housing the kitchens.
The dining room plays on a single contrast: the deep red of local earth against matte black steel. Lighting is entirely indirect, staging the food rather than the architecture.
